WELCOME TO THE LAND OF RISING SUN.....JAPAN

It was October 04, 2011. Everything is new to me.  My first International flight, it was my first time to ride in a plane and my first time to visit Japan.  But not so excited, una hindi naman for pleasure ang punta namin dun. Hindi ko nga makikita ang Disneyland.  Pangalawa, sa daming nakakainis na pangyayari bago ang araw ng punta namin dun.  Naisip na nga naming mag-back out eh.

September 09, 2010 my visa was released.  Oh, i was so thin that time hehe.

October 04, 2010 with Ms. Christy, we're now ready for 2nd Global Environmental Conference.

Woke up early to catch up Japan Airlines 8am flight bound to Narita, Japan.

After 4 hours tiring trip at last we landed safe at Narita Airport.

But then again, we need to travel 2 hours by land to get to Heritage Resort in Saitama Prefecture.  We need to wait for another bus schedule.  I keep asking myself why Ms. Keiko, the one who fetched, us didn't bring car?.... so we need to wait another 1.5 hours! Tired and hungry but what we can do?

Relieved when the bus stopped but oh, we need to wait again for the hotel bus to fetch us! OMG! It's already 7pm. I had only one meal starting 4am to 7pm?! Too bad! :(( Anacondas getting wild in my stomach!  Waited fro almost 30 minutes for the hotel bus. GRRRRR! This is not good.  I need food, food, food!

another 2 hours travel from Narita Airport to Saitama Prefecture

Western food served to us, that makes us laugh haha! Know why? We're not used to dine without rice and at that moment we're very hungry.....  Bread, vegetables (some looks like a herbal plants) but i ate them all. Who cares its smell and taste? I'm hungry! haha!

Though tired, we woke up early the following day. This is it! The boring day just started.  We need to listen to those in the conference speaking Japanese and Chinese.  Lucky that there are some representatives from Canada and US.  At least di lang kami ung mukhang engot na nakikinig sa di namin maintindihan! hahaha!

2nd day at Heritage Resort
Representatives from Canada and Georgia

First and Second day were spent for presentation and sharing of ideas, how we can overcome and stop global warming.  Our presentation earned good points from Mr. Hasegawa.  That made us proud Pinoy hehe.

After presentation, there comes a get together party.  I love it. It's time to make friends and have good conversation with the Chinese, Japanese and Thai people.  Their English is not good but at least they tried.

The night wasn't  over yet. It wouldn't be complete without Karaoke.  Cge, birit kung birit ito kahit sintunado!

Fun was over. 3rd day in Japan was spent in Kawagoe tour and visit to Honda Saitama factory before we went to Narita View Hotel for the early flight back to Manila the following day.

Lunch time means chopsticks time! haha!

That's my 4 days stay in Japan.  Never had a chance to go to Disneyland. :((
So don't ask me how it looks like haha!

Learning Japanese culture is great.
And eating lunch in a Japanese restaurant is very challenging not only for me but also for the Americans and Canadian representatives in 2nd Global Environmental Conference. ^^
